We have made every attempt to present an accurate record of the Bedford Cemeteries, but we anticipate that there may be errors. We would appreciate your bringing any that you may find to our attention.
There are four Cemeteries that are the responsibility of the Trustees. Three of them are designated as historical since they date from colonial times. The primary cemetery is the Bedford Center Cemetery and it this one where plots are currently available for purchase.
All cemeteries are accessible to the public, however the colonial ones are in fragile condition and visitors should not touch the grave stones. One of the features of this web site is that the older monuments can be viewed on an individual basis.
You may search for information on an individual basis using Last Name, Maiden Name, Date of Birth, Date of Death, Father's Name, Mother's Name and Mother's Maiden Name. Information about each cemetery is accessed by choosing the cemetery from the menu.
Plots are currently available in the Upper Section of the Bedford Center Cemetery. A listing of these available plots is found by clicking on Available Plots.

Policy for burials at the Bedford Cemeteries:
The Trustees of the Cemeteries of Bedford, are appointed by the Town Council to three year postions. They are in charge of setting Cemetery policy, maintaining the Cemeteries and with the sale of plots.
